Office Transformations

Dynamic Engineering Spaces

Growing from 15 team members to 45+, they found themselves outgrowing their humble Wellington and Auckland office spaces and saw the need in the future for larger offices and a new location in Mount Maunganui.

It was essential the larger spaces would accommodate their growing team while elevating the vibrant culture they had cultivated over the years.

Envelope Engineering, a dynamic civil and structural engineering, and surveying firm, had experienced rapid growth since its inception in 2015.

  • The challenge for Envelope was clear. How they could seamlessly transition their team into new office spaces that not only met their practical needs, but also reflect their unique culture. They wanted workspaces that would inspire collaboration, innovation, and a sense of belonging among their team.

Envelope Creative initiated the project with in-depth discussions and workshops to understand Envelope Engineering's culture, values, and work philosophy – or as they call it - their vibe.

  • Envelope Creative took the reins of this transformative project by utilising their expertise and creativity to align simple workspace design with company culture.

Under Creative Director Mel Blyde’s direction, they carefully curated new office spaces, incorporating elements that would foster creativity, teamwork, and a positive work atmosphere. From open collaboration zones to vibrant colour schemes, every detail was meticulously considered to bring their vibe to life.

Working with key industry leaders and collaborators, they seamlessly coordinated three different offices that leave current and prospective employees, clients and delivery drivers oohing and ahhing.

  • The transformation of Envelope Engineering's office spaces was a major success. The new workspaces blended functionality with culture, creating an environment where team members felt energised and inspired.

Envelope Engineering's commitment to its culture was evident in every corner of their new offices, from the colorful common areas to the heritage office locations.
